Now the technology is a important part in our life. When we enjoy the convenient because of the technology, we also are worried about the security problem. The Logitech Alert 750i is a complete digital video security system giving you instant access to crystal-clear HD-quality video anytime, anywhere on your mobile phone, online or at your computer. Logitech alert 750i indoor master system is the complete video security system you can set up yourself and count on when you need it.
1. Free apps for anytime access to live video
2. HD-quality video images allow you to identify facial features and license plate numbers, far better than VGA or analog IP cameras
3. Logitech’s secure server can make you view live video feeds using any PC or Intel-based Mac. View up to six cameras at the same time
4. Includes 2 GB microSD card records and stores footage, eliminating the need for a separate DVR. Cameras only record when motion is detected to avoid storing unnecessary footage
Logitech Alert 750i Indoor Master has many advantages. Bought this setup and install was very easy. Quality is very good and the system seems to work very well. You also loaded the iPhone app and it works well to. The picture/video has great quality! The video resolution at ~900×700 is very good. Stationary objects are exceptionally clear. It appears that the video frame rate degrades quite a bit when IR night vision is activated. There are times when motion is detected and recording begins, but then recording stops and does not continue even though motion starts a few seconds later. Logitech has done a pretty good job of improving motion capture. There are far less lost activities, and captures start just prior to the movement entering frame instead of when the movement is going out of frame.
Logitech Alert 750i Indoor Master also is not perfect. No Audio for Mobile Devices. The mobile app did not support audio. For the price of these cameras, it would seem like mechanical tilt and pan features could be incorporated. The $80 Foscam indoor camera can tilt/pan. Without pan, it will take more cameras to cover the same area. Also no two-way audio and no multi-camera remote/mobile view. For settings they are less resolution at higher frame rates like some other cameras.
The Logitech Alert system is a decent enough product, and for the non-technical consumer provides a simple way to install a video security system in the home. There are better options out there, but these require a lot more knowledge about technical setup, and also may require dedicated computer hardware to support.
